Terms of Service
Version 1
1. Who we are
ShotHatch ("ShotHatch", "we") is an online studio for app store graphics, operated by KK IT Solutions, Dokudów Drugi 95A, 21-500 Biała Podlaska, Poland (tax ID 5372547884). Contact: [email protected]. These terms apply between you and the operator when you use ShotHatch.
Purchases are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com (see section 5).
2. The service
ShotHatch turns screenshots of your own app into store graphics (Google Play and App Store sizes), a Feature Graphic and listing texts in several languages. Previews and image exports are rendered in your browser.
Optional AI features suggest headlines, subheadlines, store listing texts and a Feature Graphic background. They run only when you start them, and you decide whether to use the result. AI never creates or changes your app's screens: the screenshots shown are always your uploads.
The service is offered as is and is still being developed. We do our best to keep it available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Keep your own copies of anything you need: exports you download are yours.
3. Your account
- You sign in with a Google account that has a verified email address. We never see your Google password.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, and give correct information.
- Keep your account to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under it.
- We may suspend or block an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or others at risk, or tries to get around limits or payment. Where possible we tell you why first.
4. Plans, credits and limits
- Trial: free, 1 project, 1 store language and 3 AI text credits, granted once.
- Launch Pass: a one-time purchase of $19 (plus tax where applicable) for 30 days of access for one project, with up to 5 store languages, 50 AI text credits and 10 AI background credits. It does not renew automatically and is never charged again.
- One AI credit is used per AI generation. A generation that fails is refunded as a credit. Downloading or re-exporting graphics never uses credits. Credits that are left when a pass ends expire and do not carry over.
- When a pass ends you can still open, edit and export your existing projects. New projects, languages, uploads and AI need a new pass. We keep the projects for at least 30 days after the pass ends.
- Limits (projects, languages, storage, AI requests per hour and day) are enforced by the service to keep costs and abuse in check, and are shown before you buy.
5. Payment through Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) apply to the purchase.
Prices are shown in US dollars without tax. Paddle adds VAT or sales tax for your country and shows the final price before you pay. Paddle takes the payment and issues the receipt or invoice; ShotHatch never receives your card details.
Your pass starts when Paddle confirms the payment to us. Returning from the payment page does not by itself start a pass.
6. Refunds and right of withdrawal
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying a Launch Pass, for any reason. See the Refund Policy (/refunds). When a purchase is refunded or charged back, its pass ends.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the statutory rights that apply to you; this refund policy does not limit them.
7. Your content
- Your screenshots, texts and exported graphics remain yours. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display them only to provide the service to you, including sending them to our AI provider when you start an AI feature (see the Privacy Policy).
- We do not publish your materials, use them in our gallery or marketing, or use them to train AI models, unless you separately agree to that in writing.
- Upload only material you have the right to use. Do not upload content that is illegal, infringes others' rights or contains other people's personal data you may not share.
- AI suggestions can be wrong or unsuitable. Review every text before you publish it and make sure your store listing follows the store's rules.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not try to access other accounts or data, attack, overload or reverse engineer the service, or get around limits, credits or payment.
- Do not use the service to create misleading store listings or to fake app screens you do not have.
- Automated access is allowed only through the normal web interface at a human pace.
- Report illegal content, abuse or a security problem to [email protected]. We review every report and may remove the material or suspend the account involved.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law says so. Otherwise our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for ShotHatch in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost data you could have exported, or store rejections. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumers have under mandatory law.
10. Ending the service
You can stop using ShotHatch at any time. On the Your data page in the studio you can download everything we store for your account and delete the account with all projects at once; you can also ask us by writing to [email protected]. We may end the service as a whole with at least 30 days' notice by email; a pass that is still running is then refunded pro rata.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms are version 1. When we change them we show the new version at sign-in and ask you to accept it before you continue working on projects. Changes never affect a pass you have already bought to your disadvantage.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Poland. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence still apply, and you may use the courts of your residence. Before going to court, write to us at [email protected]; we answer complaints within 14 days. Consumers may also turn to an out-of-court consumer dispute body in their country, such as a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa).
